Getting To Our Cruise
There are some great perks to being a travel agent. One of those perks is a free graduation cruise with Princess if you complete their training to Commodore - which I Have. I’ve been saving this cruise for a European destination but sometimes it’s not the destination that’s important, it’s the timing. My hubby and I have had a lot of difficulties already this year and we needed a re-set. So, we I cashed in my cruise, we blew all of our airline miles and a week later we are in Fort Lauderdale getting ready to go on a Panama Canal cruise.
One stumbling block we encountered was booking our flights with miles. United didn’t have flights to FLL using miles so we had to fly into Miami and we had to fly in a day early. When I book clients on this type if trip, I have them arrive the day of the cruise and a Princess transfer picks them up at the airport and drops them off at the ship. It’s simple and convenient. Since we couldn’t do this we rented a car from Budget in Miami, spent the night in Fort Lauderdale, dropped off the car to the local office and their van dropped us off at the ship. When it is time to return, Budget will pick us up at the pier and we will drop the car off in Miami. Easy! When you are ready to take a cruise talk to me about what your travel needs are and I will work out the best itinerary for you!
Happy Adventuring!
